Biodiversity

With representatives of each of its partners, The Minerals and Nature Conservation Forum was formed to instigate and develop projects where shared resources would bring most benefit to the conservation objectives of the UK minerals industry.

The chief concerns of environmentalists and conservationists in Britain embrace the very existence of a wide variety of plant and animal species in their natural environments, and their principal aim is to prevent the destruction of these natural habitats.

In this part of our website, we aim to tell you about some of the many initiatives being undertaken by our members, offer further references, case studies and links to other biodiversity websites.
